Jahlar Lake is one of the most spectacular, picturesque and beautiful lakes in the Soon Valley, With a length of 35 miles and 9 miles width. Its elevation height is 950 feet above sea level. It is located 20km south from Nowshera Jahlar road bypassing Surraki village. Its covering total area of 17 hectares and Also protected internationally and included in the Ramsar list. 45 species of migratory birds come in winters from the cold plains of Siberia to feed on the fish and other aquatic life founded in this breathtakingly beautiful lake. A metallized roads leads to this amazingly beautiful lake of the Soon valley.
Instructions for Tourists:
- Please do not litter the lake with garbage because not only it spoils the beauty of the lake but also affects the aquatic life.
- It’s better to visit this place on your own convenience..
- There are no hotels and restaurants, so bring foods and drinks by yourself.
- you can visit this place during daylight.
- Don't visit at night because it's a dangerous place.
- Don't try to swim in this lake because it’s so deep, and your life is precious.
